Questions We Hear Every Week
What is the legal window tint darkness in Texas?
Texas law requires a minimum of 25% visible light transmission (VLT) on front side windows. Back side and rear windows allow any darkness. Windshields allow a non-reflective tint strip on the top 5 inches only. We know Texas tint law inside and out — and we won't install illegal film on your vehicle. Every install is spec-checked before you leave.
What VLT do most customers choose?
Most customers land on 20% VLT for front side windows for the look and heat rejection balance, though the legal minimum is 25%. We'll walk you through the tradeoffs before install, and every install is spec-checked before you leave.
What does the tint warranty cover?
Our ceramic tint carries a Lifetime + No-Fault warranty — no-fault means it's covered even if you're the one who damages it, not just manufacturer defects.
How much heat does ceramic tint actually block?
Ceramic window film blocks the infrared wavelengths responsible for most cabin heat, without the signal interference or fading issues of older dyed film — it also blocks 99% of UV rays that fade interiors and damage skin over years of Texas sun exposure.
